Nominations remain open until 30 June for the Business Post Sustainable Awards for 2026, which will be presented at a gala awards ceremony on Thursday 1 October at The Shelbourne, Dublin, to recognise organisations across Ireland doing credible, commercially grounded work in sustainability.
The Business Post Sustainable Business Awards celebrate outstanding leadership, innovation and impact in sustainability across Ireland’s business community. Now in their fifth year, the awards have become a benchmark for excellence in Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) practice, recognising organisations of all sizes that are driving meaningful progress towards a more sustainable economy and society.
This year the programme has expanded to 13 categories, including new additions from the EV Awards covering zero-emission vehicles, charge point operators and hardware manufacturers. If your work touches low-carbon transport, renewable energy or decarbonisation, there is very likely a category built for you.

The EV Awards return this year as part of the Sustainable Business Awards, bringing together the full sustainability ecosystem under one event. This expanded programme underscores how innovation in low-carbon transport, renewable energy and broader decarbonisation strategies are integral to Ireland’s ambition to build greener, more resilient business models.
Previous winners have included An Post, Bus Eireann, Bord na Mona and University College Cork. The awards are adjudicated upon by an independent panel of experts in environmental, social and governance issues. Entry to the awards is entirely free and open to businesses of all sizes, based in or operating from Ireland.
